Martin Vander Weyer
Martin Vander Weyer is a British financial journalist, business editor of ''The Spectator'', and a leading figure within the British-American Project.
A Yorkshireman (he lives in Thirsk and Malton〔http://blogs.spectator.co.uk/martin-vander-weyer/2014/02/how-we-fired-anne-mcintosh/〕) of Flemish ancestry, he is the son of Derek Vander Weyer, who was a prominent London banker with Barclays, where he rose to Deputy Chairman. Martin Vander Weyer himself spent 15 years in investment banking, working for Schroders and Barclays in London, Brussels and the Far East, before turning to writing.
As a journalist, Vander Weyer is known for writing extensively about business, economics and financial morality in a distinctively accessible and entertaining style. He is the business editor and “Any Other Business” columnist of ''The Spectator'' as well as editor of the monthly ''Spectator Business''. He is also a regular contributor to the ''Daily Telegraph'', ''Sunday Telegraph'', ''Daily Mail'' and other national publications.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.innovationedge08.co.uk/speaker/set-9.asp/ )
